Freelance Brand Designer
May 2020 - Present
My design process begins by getting to know each of my clients, learning as much as I can about their personality, their passions, and their goals.
From there, I work intimately with the client to develop a brand strategy they can implement as a long-term plan for successful growth. I start by identifying their brand values, vision, and mission, and help them discover their unique value proposition as well as their ideal client profile.
The design work begins with the curation of a custom inspiration imagery board to guide the aesthetic focus for the brand. I then ideate and draft multiple logo iterations, from which the client can choose which styles they’d like to see more refined.
Following initial iterations, I then adapt and further develop the design concepts in 1-2 rounds of revisions to create a cohesive and unique visual brand. This typically includes a main logo with alternates, a submark, font and color palette curation, custom patterns, and supporting icons if applicable.
